I am more of a concept person, so I try to make students understand the logic behind what we are doing rather than mugging the formulae.

1) If someone is between grade 9 to 10 I would try to subtly include sone higher concepts that are easily understandable at your level too. Most of the cases these clarity of concepts are the elements that differentiate how you will do in your higher studies.
2) For bsc students I would generally teach algebra where i would try to teach you the subjects through different examples and counter examples that would give you the clarity and clear vision of the topics.

3) I would help students with their assignments. But I will give you hints about how to do it rather than directly doing it for you.

4) Mathematics is surely above 50% about practice. So as I would be giving my time I would expect practice from my students. If you don't understand I would not move forward until and unless you get that part,but if you don't understand something immediately ask me that. ask me any number of time I am here to help but have to ask.
