I have completed my PhD and MPhil from JNU and I have qualified UGC-JRF. My classes are very engaging. Open for a demo. My idea of teaching political science constitutes the belief that its core lies in the exchange of perspectives. Once the concept is explained to the student, what matters is the perspective the student gains. Personal biases often come into play in any academic setting of social sciences. However, one should train students to first be an independent observer. Once ideas are analysed from an unbiased setting and the individual has learned about multiple perspectives, different ideological lenses can be incorporated to understand which one is more feasible. At its essence, teaching social science is continuous intellectual engagement where ideas are exchanged, critically debated and open to falsification.
