I have an MBA (Finance) and I am currently working to get my CFA charter where I have cleared the first two level exams and am currently studying for Level 3.

I started my professional career as research analyst at a stock brokerage house and later worked as an investment advisor to a select few high net-worth clients.

More recently, I am focused on helping CFA Level I candidates prepare for the final exams.

I have been tutoring since my university years and, in time, it has become a lifestyle for me.

As for my teaching style here is what a typical class with me looks like:

Step 1 - Introduction: We start with an introduction to the topic including what is it and why is it important. Example: What is corporate finance and how can companies use corporate finance in order to maximize profits?

Step 2 - Core Concept: Once done with the introduction, we then move to the core idea or concept. Example: what are capital projects and how do corporate finance analysts evaluate capital projects?

Step 3 - Step by Step Worked Example: next, I will walk you through a worked example showing each and every step necessary to reach a conclusion/answer. Example: How to calculate the Net Present Value of a capital project.

Step 4 - Student Class Assignment: Next, I will provide you with the opportunity to solve a question/problem (relating to the discussed topic) helping you on each step along the way. Example: I will provide you with the opportunity to calculate the Net Present Value of a capital project.

Step 5 - Class Review: we will end the class with a quick overview of what has been discussed in class that day focusing on the critical ideas and concepts.

Note: all my lectures are pre planned and I have thought out the sequence of steps necessary in order to help you (the student), comfortably understand the underlying idea/concept.
