With extensive experience teaching and examining the IBDP, CAIE A Level, and GCE A Level syllabi, I bring a perspective few tutors can offer. Very rarely—if ever—will families find a tutor who has worked across three major international boards as both a classroom teacher and an examiner.
In addition, my role as an IB workshop leader places me at the centre of curriculum training and IB pedagogy, giving me direct insight into how teachers worldwide are guided to teach, assess, and support their students. This enables me to mentor learners with the same clarity, rigour, and expectations applied at global IB schools.

Nice Tutor
When I started the IBDP, I honestly hated Physics. It felt so complicated and I could never connect with it. But after joining Mr. Mahesh’s classes in Year 2, everything changed. His way of teaching made even the toughest concepts easy to understand and actually interesting!
His PPTs are next level — full of visuals, animations, and GIFs that make every topic come alive. Learning through those slides made Physics fun instead of stressful. He also guided me in choosing the perfect IA topic, patiently helping me refine my idea until it fit both my interests and the IB requirements.
Because of his support, my grades improved a lot, and I’ve genuinely started to enjoy Physics. I never thought I’d say this, but it’s now one of my favorite subjects — all thanks to Mr. Mahesh!

The Support Behind My 7 in IB Physics
I honestly wouldn’t have managed a 7 in HL Physics without Mr. Mahesh’s help. His way of breaking down tough concepts made classes so much easier to follow, and he always made sure I understood instead of just memorizing.
What helped me the most was with my IA. I started with literally nothing — no topic, no idea where to begin. Step by step, he guided me through picking a good research question, planning everything properly, and then actually writing it in a way that matched IB standards. He gave super clear feedback on every draft, which pushed me to improve each time.
In the end, my IA got a 7 too, and that really boosted my confidence for the final exams. Thanks to his support, I got a 7 overall in my May 2025 HL Physics exams.

From Struggling to Thriving – Thanks to Mr. Mahesh!
I was really struggling with IBDP Physics, stuck at a grade 5 and feeling lost. That’s when I started getting tutored by Mr. Mahesh, and honestly, it was a game-changer. He’s not just an amazing teacher – he’s also an IB examiner, so he really knows what the IB is looking for.
He helped me choose a solid Physics IA topic and guided me throughout the process, which took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Over time, my understanding improved so much that I went from a predicted grade 5 to a 7!
Because of that improvement and the confidence I gained, I ended up getting into Georgia Tech – a dream college for me in the US. I can’t thank him enough for the role he played in that journey.

Got Amazing Support for the IAs and my Exam Preparation
I was really struggling to finish my Physics IAs, and luckily, I found Mr. Mahesh on Teacheron. He helped me get it done in just 15 days. That's when I understood why so many students turn to IB tutors (with Examiner experience) for help with their IAs and exams.
After that, I also started taking online lessons for Physics HL with him. He also helped me understand the Marking schemes, common mistakes to avoid (as he is very well aware of the Examiner reports from the past). I honestly think Mr. Mahesh is one of the best Physics teachers for the IBDP. A huge thank you to him for all the support and help he gave me when I needed it most.

The Best Physics Tutor
I attend Bradford School as an IBDP student. I was finding it difficult to pass my Physics HL class because I could only obtain a Grade 2 on the formative assessments offered by my school. Mr. Mahesh assisted me in grasping the ideas and provided me with guidance on how to apply them to the exam-style questions. In response to my particular needs, he created lesson plans that are distinctive, interesting, and focused on assessment objectives. I'm now receiving a Grade 6 in my FAs. I have no doubt that in May 2025, when I take my Physics HL exams, I will receive a Grade 7.
He has a good sense of humor and creative teaching style, to keep the lessons easy way going and yet shares very meaningful deeper insights about the assessment objectives and marking principles based on his personal Examiner experience.
I am sure any student in need of physics assistance can definitely benefit from his teaching sessions.

Excellent Teacher
I was struggling with my grades in IBDP Physics HL. I was scoring 3-4 in my school assessments. Mr. Mahesh helped me fill in my learning gaps, taught me the concepts from basics and made me realize their Real life applications. So, now I am able to score 6 and 7 in my assessments. Thanks to Mr. Mahesh.
I found him very expert in explaining the concepts, knowing the real life applications. He makes lessons look fun, challenging and rewarding. Concept oriented, Creative Teacher
I like the way he delivers the content in a very interesting manner. He always starts the lessons with application and importance of learning the concepts and will direct the conversation as if its a storytelling for him.
