I am a theatre practitioner, actor, academician, and professional trainer with over 20 years of experience in acting and theatre training. I hold a PhD in Performing Arts (Theatre) and am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Performing Arts at GITAM University, Hyderabad.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts (specialized in Children’s Theatre) from the reputed School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur, Kerala, and my Master’s degree in Performing Arts (Drama and Theatre) from Pondicherry Central University. My doctoral research in Performing Arts was completed at the Central University of Jharkhand.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked as a theatre tutor and trainer in various educational institutions, colleges, schools, and cultural organizations. Along with academic teaching, I have been conducting online and offline personal and group training sessions in acting, theatre performance, storytelling, and emotional expression exercises.

My training methodology focuses on helping students develop creativity, confidence, emotional awareness, and stage presence through structured theatre techniques and interactive activities. I also teach Malayalam through theatre-based learning, fun exercises, and creative activities, making the learning process engaging and practical.

As a casting director and Acting Trainer in the Malayalam film industry, I also guide aspiring actors and performers by providing insights into acting for stage and screen, audition preparation, and opportunities in theatre, cinema, and modelling.

My goal as a trainer and educator is to help students and aspiring performers discover their creative potential, build confidence, and explore the artistic and research possibilities within theatre and performance studies.
