Rahila AkterQuran and Islamic Studies Teacher
No reviews yet
I have an excellent rapport with all my students, I like to engage and try to be as interactive as possible. My teaching style includes creativity, thinking outside the box, cross curriculum activities and personal development where I frequently challenge my students to think independently. I avoid being authoritarian as much as possible, and use positive reinforcement and encouragement to support my students. I strive to be as approachable as I can while maintaining positive teacher - student boundaries. I work hard to ensure my lessons are fun and enjoyable rather than dreary and dull.
My students often excel and their performance is outstanding. I try to inspire the importance of education in my students and work with them to achieve confidence in their own abilities, while gaining a thorough understanding of what they learn. My hours are flexible and I work around each students' needs. Every student will have a tailor-made program uniquely designed based on their personal requirements and ambitions. I provide frequent feedback to my students and offer one-to-one termly reviews to their parents/guardians. I work on an individual target basis with my students and each student will have their own requirements met.
It is important to me that the student is punctual, attentive and completes any home learning that has been set for them in order to make the most of our lessons.
