I am a visiting research instructor at the College of Liberal Arts, University of Minnesota, USA. Originally, my PhD in English literature is continued at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. Being an instructor of English language and literature, I have taught Technical Report Writing, Communication Skills, Business Writing and Advanced Composition to the undergraduate students of Agriculture, Medical and Engineering departments at a series of universities in Pakistan including National University of Modern Languages, IQRA University, Foundation University, Riphah International University (RIU) and International Islamic University (IIUI) for last four years.
Further, having extraordinary exposure in the USA, I am encouraged to promote cultural as well as linguistic diversity through English language teaching in various disciplines of knowledge by adhering the values of transculturality in teaching methods and incorporating student/subject centered approaches in designing lesson plans and giving feedback to the students.
After pandemic, I have been teaching online through LMS (locally designed university's software), Google Classroom, Google Meet, Blackboard and Microsoft Teams by taking live sessions, sharing recorded lectures and giving timely feedback at assignments.
