My name is Dr. Jyothilakshmi M, My graduation is in chemistry and my PG and PhD is in Biochemistry. I have 15 years of teaching experience at PG level. Currently working as external faculty in Biochemistry, Kerala Health University. I can teach Biochemistry, Metabolism, Enzymology, clinical Biochemistry, Immunology, molecular Biology, chemistry and Instrumentation for various medical and non medical courses.
Interested to take classes in above areas for BSc, MSc, Nursing, Dental, Pharmacy and MBBS courses

I prefer online classes and ready to give notes if needed
Also can help in thesis and dissertation correction as well as in assignment submission.

I prefer Moodle platform or google class room for sharing notes.

Power point presentation combined with Digital board is used for the effective delivery of the sessions.. Also interested to give online activities.

    Being interested to expand my career in medical field where biochemistry has to play a prominent role I registered as external faculty in Health University. Now I am taking classes for BSc Nursing students. I am always keen so that nursing students will understand biochemistry not only for their exam but also for being a good medical professional.
  • Lecturer in Biochemistry (Oct, 2016–Mar, 2024) at SN college, Kumarakom
    After completing my PhD in Biochemistry, I continued my career as a teacher. I worked in SN College for 7 years and 6 months. I handled general biochemistry, metabolism, enzymology and plant and animal biotechnology papers here. I strongly believe teachers are the second parents and during this period of digital technology students require a motivator rather than a mere instructor.
  • Research Scholar (Aug, 2011–May, 2016) at School of Bioscience, Mahatma Gandhi University
    I did my PhD during this time. Got training in phytochemistry as well as isolation and purification of active principles from medicinal plants. Since I selected a multidisciplinary work I got experience in microbiology too during this time.

    Being passionate about teaching, I started my career as Lecturer in Biochemistry in the post graduate department of Biotechnology of Kuriakose Elias College, Mannanam - a renowned instituition affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. I worked there for 7 years and 4 months. I have experience in handling general biochemistry, enzymology, metabolism, molecular biology and immunology (both theory and practical). I trained my students for their exam and also paid attention to make them aware of practical knowledge in their subject which will assist them in their career as well as day to day life
