My name is Zaeem Shah, and I have been teaching the Quran online for more than 10 years. I teach fluently in English and regularly work with children and adults from the USA, UK, UAE, France, and other countries. Many of my students come from English-speaking families, so I am comfortable explaining lessons, Tajweed rules, and Quran reading guidance in clear and simple English.
My teaching work is mainly focused on Qaida, Nazra/By looking Quran, Tajweed, and Hifz/ by Memorisation revision. I prefer building strong foundations first because when the basics are correct, progress becomes easier and long lasting.
One thing I have learned through years of teaching is that every child cannot be taught in the same way. Some students need patience, some need encouragement, and some need a different approach to stay focused. Because of this, I adjust my teaching style according to the student's level, age, and learning ability rather than following the same method for everyone.
Most parents who arrange a trial lesson are not only looking for someone who can listen to Quran recitation. They want a teacher who can understand their child, keep them engaged, correct mistakes properly, and maintain consistency. This is the area where I put most of my attention. My classes are organized, interactive, and focused on steady improvement rather than rushing through lessons.
Over the years, many families have continued their Quran learning journey with me after the first few lessons because they are able to see clear teaching, proper correction of mistakes, and a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning with confidence.
My goal is simple: to help students read the Quran correctly, improve their Tajweed, strengthen their connection with the Quran, and develop a habit of regular learning that benefits them for years to come.
