I have been a Mathematics and Statistics teacher for more than 18 years now.
I love Maths and teaching Maths. In my entire career my USP has been that children have felt comfortable with me and hence have been able to connect with me. This connection has helped them overcome their fear for the subject.
Deliberate practice is what I believe has helped my students achieve their goal in Maths.
Making their concepts clear and enabling them to teach themselves is what I aim at with my students.
This technique of mine has helped my students in not only understanding the subject but also in getting good marks
