I am a certified Carnatic vocalist with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have trained students of all age groups, helping them build a strong foundation in Carnatic music, bhajans, and devotional keerthanas.
Fluent in Telugu, Hindi, and English, I am able to make learning comfortable and accessible for students from diverse backgrounds. Apart from teaching, I also host a niche show dedicated to classical music on Radio Surabhi, America’s first live 24/7 Telugu radio station, every Tuesday from 11 AM–1 PM CST. This platform allows me to share the beauty of Carnatic music with a wider audience while staying connected to the community.
In my classes, I focus on ensuring that students understand the concepts behind music, not just the notes and lyrics. I believe that true learning happens when students know why something is sung a certain way, and this depth of knowledge makes their music stronger and more meaningful. At the same time, I create an environment where learning is fun, engaging, and enjoyable, so students look forward to every session.
I also encourage my students to participate in competitions and cultural events, guiding them with the right preparation and tips to perform confidently. Watching students grow in skill, confidence, and love for music has been the most rewarding part of my journey as a teacher.

Fee details

    My lesson fees range between $15–$35 per class, depending on the student’s level of learning and the structure of their classes.
    Beginners usually start at the lower range, as the focus is on building basics step by step.
    Intermediate and advanced students fall into the higher range, as their classes involve deeper concepts, advanced techniques, and more intensive training.
    Fees may also vary depending on whether classes are individual or group sessions, and the duration of each class.
    I am happy to discuss the most suitable structure and fee option based on each student’s learning needs and goals.
