I am Dr. Chirag Alreja, MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras. I teach, undertake research, and provide professional services in the field of manufacturing engineering. I have 7+ years of Research and Teaching experience.

Teaching Subjects: Elements of Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Processes I & II, Traditional and Non-Traditional Machining, Material Science and Engineering, Casting and welding, Plasticity and Plastic Deformation, Micro and Nano Deformation of Materials, Residual Stress and Phase Transformations in Material.

Area of Interest include: Novel manufacturing processes, Nano machining of semiconductors, Processing of material at high temperature, Tribo-emissions.
