About Me:
I am a graduate of BITS-Pilani, where I earned a B.E. (Hons.) in Computer Science and an M.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics. I also hold an M.S. in Computer Science from SUNY-Buffalo, USA. With over 22 years of experience—17 years in the IT-Software sector and 5+ years in the EdTech industry—I bring a unique blend of analytical skills and teaching expertise. I have worked with leading EdTech companies, including Manya - The Princeton Review and Jamboree, where I have helped numerous students excel in competitive exams. My friendly and engaging teaching style simplifies complex math problems into easy-to-understand concepts, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience.

    Mentored students on GRE/GMAT/SAT/PSAT - Quantitative content. Love to interact with students and help them achieve their target scores. My students have achieved 168+ on the GRE-Quant and 750+ on the SAT-Math section.
  • Quantitative Trainer (Jun, 2022–Apr, 2024) at Texas Review, Bangalore
    Mentored students on GRE/GMAT/SAT - Quantitative content. This involved handling offline (i.e. classroom) batches. Ability to articulate the solutions in an easy-to-understand manner. Passionate about student’s success.
  • Quantitative Trainer (Jan, 2021–May, 2022) at Jamboree, Bangalore
    Mentored students on GRE-Quant content. This involved handling both online and offline batches. Each batch would vary in size typically from 5 - 30 students. Possess the knack of delivering clear solutions. Always looking to travel that extra mile in order to help a student.

    Worked on Secondary School (Grades 6-8) Content Creation and Review as part of the Mathematics Team. This work at its core involves updating Embibe's proprietary CMS (Content Management System) with accurate and lucid solutions. Curriculums covered include CBSE, ICSE and various State Boards.
  • Solution Architect (Jul, 2001–Dec, 2018) at IT Companies, Multiple Locations
    Worked as part of several leading companies in the IT (Information Technology) domain. First part of IT career involved developing mobile applications for the pre-smartphone era. Subsequently, the later part of my IT career involved developing iOS applications for iPhone/iPad. Took on progressive roles starting as a Software Engineer and leading up all the way to a Solution Architect. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills have been the hallmark of my career. Travelled quite a bit and got the opportunity to work in USA, UK, Canada, South Korea and India.
