Hello! I’m Sowmya, a passionate and dedicated maths teacher with a Master’s in Computer Science from the USA and a strong foundation in both analytical thinking and student-centered teaching. I have more than 13 years of teaching experience

Teaching has been a big part of my life for the past 13 years, and throughout this time, I’ve had the joy of connecting with students from around the world. What started as a local tutoring effort gradually expanded into a full-time global teaching practice, built on trust, patience, and results.

I’ve worked with learners from different countries including the USA, Canada, India, UAE, UK, Australia, Germany, Singapore, South Africa, Japan, Netherlands, Ireland, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Spain, Kenya, Egypt, Oman, and Brazil, among many others.

Each student I’ve worked with has brought something new to my journey — different learning styles, goals, and challenges — and helping them succeed continues to inspire me every day.

I believe in strengthening core concepts using real-life examples to make math relatable and less intimidating. I break down complex topics into simple ideas and explain them with as many examples as possible—ensuring deep conceptual clarity.

To prepare students for academic success, I provide:

One-on-one doubt-solving discussions

These strategies not only boost their accuracy and confidence, but also improve speed and problem-solving skills significantly.

Teaching math is not just my profession—it’s my passion. I see it as my responsibility to mentor each student with care, dedication, and a genuine commitment to helping them achieve their full potential.
