I am a licensed English/Literature teacher and certified EFL instructor dedicated to being the best support in the learning process of my students. My objective as a tutor is to diligently share knowledge with students from different backgrounds and levels.
I believe that learning should be smooth and fun, that is why, I create activities that help the student have an adventure learning so as to gain the most out of each lesson. I also believe that every student has individual and specific needs, thus, the need to get to know them better so as to be able to tailor learning according to their specific needs.
In 2022, I was an EFL instructor in Dadaab where I helped many refugee students improve their skills in English. Some students could not communicate in English before, but after teaching them, they started using English to communicate.
I am experienced in student-centered approach, use of ICT in teaching and differentiated instruction.
I am patient, kind and empathetic, while at the same time remaining professional. I believe that I am the best teacher/tutor for you. See you in class!

  • EFL instructor (Jan, 2022–Dec, 2022) at Windle international kenya, Dadaab
    As an EFL instructor I was responsible for assisting the Team Leader in managing the implementation and development of all aspects of ELP(English Language Program) in Dadaab Refugee Camp. I was responsible for teaching the appropriate EFL curriculum, and helping strengthen the education program in general by working cooperatively with other EFL instructors, the education stakeholders and program evaluators, to revise and update ELP. I was a field officer with experience in camp education activities, especially informal teaching processes, guidance and counselling, community mobilization and sensitization, and good public relations.
  • Teacher on Practice (May, 2019–Aug, 2019) at Alliance High School Kikuyu
    I was a subject teacher (English and Literature) responsible for creating schemes of work and lesson plans for form 1 and form 2 students, and teaching lessons as planned on the timetable. I also participated in co-curricular activities of the school.
