I am a teacher by profession and I teach Science, Mathematics and Information and Communications Technology at the Primary and Junior High School level, Elective Mathematics, Core Mathematics, Elective Physics, Information and Communications Technology and Integrated Science at the Senior High School level, International Baccalaureate Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, and Physics and Computer Science courses at the University level (Undergraduate level). I give a lots of assignments and exercises to help me know if student understood what was taught. I also do one on one sessions to help shy students.
