Hello, I am Sarita Negi.
I'm dancing since past 9yrs and teaching since past 3yrs. With time I learned a lot of things not only about dance but also how to teach properly so that my students keep improving with consistent practice. I appreciate everyone's uniqueness of dance and don't pressurise my students for anything which is taking time to work with. I want my students to enjoy dancing and for that I keep on teaching them different variations of one thing which not only helps with understanding but also knowing different faces of a particular piece. Kathak is an Indian classical form and learning that needs patience and a lot of practice. I provide all the notes in written and all the things we are doing in class in a video format which helps my student to practice easily. This method of teaching where the students are getting proper notes and videos has helped a lot of kids. They can now come to the class with their doubts and when they get them cleared the understanding of things gets better.
