My method of teaching is results-driven, in my opinion. Since I usually tutor students one-on-one, I make an effort to make sure that each student's goals are understood. The goals they have in mind and the outcomes they anticipate from our collaboration, not mine. Then, taking into account their personality and current level of proficiency, I develop a detailed plan for the entire course that includes various milestones and assessments so that we can frequently assess our progress. And just then do I choose my teaching methods, adjusting them to the plan and the ultimate goal we have with the student. Because each class and each lesson, in my opinion, are unique, a competent teacher should always adapt their instruction to the audience, the degree of order in the class, the level of difficulty of the lesson, and other factors. That is why I prefer a one-on-one approach to instruction, switching back and forth between the roles of delegator, facilitator, and authority. I don't have any reason to question the success of my teaching approach because so far it has been working fantastically.
