Rahul RajQuantum Computing, Quantum Information

I am a quantum computing and quantum information researcher, currently pursuing my PhD at Rutgers University. My research focuses on quantum information processing using superconducting quantum circuits, with specific work on fluxonium circuit quantization, 3D cavity QED, chip design, and quantum optics experiments. I hold a master’s degree in physics from IIT Hyderabad, where I built a strong foundation in advanced theoretical and experimental physics. I consider myself a lifelong student—because the best teacher is the one who never stops learning. I am deeply passionate about physics and enjoy teaching, explaining concepts, and solving problems.
My teaching philosophy is simple: Physics becomes clear when you draw, visualize, and understand the physical meaning behind equations. Every equation encodes intuition; you just need the right direction, a direction that comes from sustained learning, curiosity, and effort.
I believe that hard work and consistency are the most important ingredients for mastering physics or any complex subject.
