We have been trying to train the students to attain the required standards of the given curriculum. The very purpose of teaching is to enable the students learn different concepts and implement them in their practical life. However, this process has undergone many changes from time to time.

In the Gurkul system of ancient times, there was a teacher centered education. What ever the teacher taught was the ultimate for the students. The teacher was a complete authoritarian.But now the educationists have realized that the basic aim of teaching is learning. If the students can’t learn what is taught, such teaching is ineffective. So the focus has shifted from teacher centered education to child centered education or learning centered education.
