I am Teacher Liswa from sunny South Africa. A fully qualified and certified teacher with 18 years of mainstream school teaching experience in the process of starting my very own private Online English tutoring lessons.

As an upcoming author, I am very enthusiastic about the English Language.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a TEFL certificate as well as a Diploma in English Language and Literature with various other relevant certificates as I keep myself professionally developed. I am currently registered for the Introduction to Applied Linguistics and TESOL course and preparing for my Master's degree in Education (MEd).

I teach all English CEFR levels for all ages. My niche is assisting students with their IELTS exam preparations for Academic or General purposes as well as job interview preparations.

I mostly specialise in using the Communicative Language Learning approach and other approaches according to the student's needs like Task-based Language learning and Total Physical Response, etc. I assess and offer prompt feedback for every lesson. I ensure complete student cooperation and engagement during lessons and believe that mistakes are part of the ultimate language learning journey.

I am a kind, caring and patient teacher. My students are always happy to have me as their teacher as much as I enjoy teaching them. I can use 3 English versions, American English, UK English and South African English; depending on where my students are based or their preferences.

I also offer Conversational English classes to assist students to practice and improve their general conversational abilities.

My teaching platforms are Zoom, Classin and Google Classroom, or whichever other platform the student finds most comfortable and accessible.

Experience

Teacher/ Online English Teacher (Oct, 2002–Present) at 18 years of Public School teaching primary school subjects. Online teaching since January 2023.

I worked as a Public Primary School teacher since 2002 teaching all Primary School subjects, carrying out relevant administration duties.
I started as an Online English Teacher in January 2023 working with all ages teaching Grammar, Pronunciation,Vocabulary, IELTS exam preparations, Comprehension, etc. I have worked with various reputable companies including Native Camp, EF English, Twenix, etc.

I assist students with preparations for their IELTS exams to achieve 7.0+
