I am a passionate educator with a strong background in Mathematics, ICT, and Computing education, committed to helping students develop both academic excellence and practical digital skills. I began my teaching career in 2018 at Emind Institute of Business Studies, where I quickly progressed from Faculty Member to Program Coordinator, gaining early experience in academic coordination, leadership, and student development.

I later served for four years as a Mathematics and ICT Teacher at Sri Viddyadeepa Buddhist Nuns’ Educational Institute, where I taught a wide range of students from pre-primary to O/L and Piriven Final Examination levels. During this time, I took on multiple leadership roles including Technical Services In-Charge, ICT Officer, Prefect Board In-Charge, Census Officer, and Disciplinary In-Charge for lay students. These responsibilities allowed me to develop strong organizational, administrative, and student management skills alongside classroom teaching.

My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts and making learning practical, interactive, and student-centered. I have supported students in achieving strong academic outcomes, with more than 65% of O/L and Piriven examination students securing grades of B or above. I have also contributed to key academic and extracurricular achievements, including guiding students to become First Runner-Up in the All Island Mathematics Day Competition 2021 and serving as a committee member for a pioneering Piriven Final Examination conference series in Sri Lanka.

In addition to teaching, I actively support students through mentoring and counseling, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges. This has strengthened my ability to build trust, understand individual learning needs, and create a supportive classroom environment.

Currently, I work as a Computing Teacher at Lyceum International School, where I teach Middle School students Computing, ICT, and Digital Literacy. My focus is on developing students’ coding skills, logical thinking, and responsible use of technology through engaging and practical learning experiences. I strive to prepare students with the digital competencies and confidence needed for the modern world.

My key strengths include classroom management, Computing and ICT education, Mathematics teaching, lesson planning, educational leadership, student mentoring, event coordination, parent communication, adaptability, and a strong commitment to student success.
