Hello! I’m Akari :)
I graduated from Missouri State University with a major in Global Studies, and I’m currently preparing to enter an MBA program. I’ve been teaching Japanese to a middle school student and also worked with children aged 6–12 at a Japanese summer camp, where I taught Japanese and helped them enjoy learning through games and conversations. I also have experience teaching English at a cram school in Japan, so I understand how to support students with different learning styles.

I was born and raised in Tokyo, so I can teach you natural and standard Japanese as well as casual expressions that native speakers actually use.

Learning a new language can be difficult, but I know how rewarding it is! I’ve been studying English and Korean myself, so I really understand how language learners feel. My goal is to create lessons where you can relax, have fun, and learn real Japanese through conversation.
