This is Dr. Shilpa Thakur. I did my Ph.D. in Physical Layer Security, Wireless Communication from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu in Sep 2022. Before that, I completed my M. Tech (GATE Qualified) and B.Tech in ECE with honors from KU and HPU in 2013, and 2009 respectively.
After completing Ph.D., I worked as an Early Postdoc Fellow (Sep 2022 to Dec 2022) in a DST-funded project at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Before joining Ph.D., I was a Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. Currently, I am working at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi.
About my area of research, I work in the broad scope of Wireless Communication with applications in Physical Layer Security, Cognitive Radio Networks, Machine Learning, Intelligent Reflection Surfaces, MIMO, V2X, etc. Alongside my research work, I have gained teaching experience as an Assistant Professor (Contract) at Career Point University Hamirpur.
