I am a certified IB DP English A / TOK teacher / Extended Essay supervisor with a PhD and MA in Linguistics.
Having more than 20 years of teaching experience, I am comfortable teaching a wide variety of students from various backgrounds. I have have acquired a set of skills to develop and nurture students’ unique needs, to differentiate instructions, to provide individual and whole group support, to integrate multicultural teaching units, and to offer positive encouragement and reinforcement that keep students focused and motivated.

For an effective and motivating lesson, I research, locate, and incorporate a variety of resources to encourage students to learn, think critically and be creative. My goal is to foster and maintain an open and supportive environment, where students can learn and practice to get better-equipped with target skills and competencies.
