My name is Elizabeth Villa, I am an IBDP Biology and Chemistry teacher, both SL & HL. I have been teaching IBDP sciences since 2004, and in general since 1992. I am a truly passionate teacher who loves teaching, accompanying, guiding and supporting IBDP students through their journey, with the common objective of getting the best possible results in their Science courses.
Being an IBDP Paper 2 examiner since 2007 has given me the advantage of knowing how the IBDP wants the students to answer the questions, depending on the command term.
Being an IBDP Internal assessment (IA) examiner gives me another advantage over other teachers, since I will be able to guide the student through the whole process of the Individual investigation of the IA.
I have also experience supervising Biology and Chemistry Extended Essays (EE). My supervisee last year got an A in her Chemistry EE.
I am a firm believer in tailoring my learning methods to each student, which means that I strive to teach them in a way that suits their needs best.
I have been tutoring online since 2019. I have taught students in Barcelona, Peru, Mozambique, Vienna, Abudhabi, Hong Kong and Dubai, all of them with excellent results.
