AssalamuAlikum,
I hope you are well!
My name is Jakiya Tabassum. I am a female Qaria who qualified as an Islamic teacher in the summer of 2017 from the renowned Darul Hadis Latifiah, London.

Upon qualifying, I took the opportunity to start tutoring in my local area. Shortly after, I was recognised by an Islamic institute where I began teaching students ranging from Qaida (beginner) to Quran (with tajweed) from 2018. Alongside this, I continued my private tutoring online and in-person to students across the UK.

Alhamdullilah, I currently have 7+ years worth of teaching experience and I hope to continue this. I would like to benefit more students by sharing my knowledge and understanding.

My teaching style is versatile as I am able to accommodate based on my students abilities and age range. During my classes, I deliver a variety of subjects ranging from basic Islamic duas/ supplication, Hadeeth, Fiqh, Seerah, Tajweed etc.

    During the evenings from Monday to Friday, I taught at an Islamic institute. My job entailed of me teaching students from Qaida (beginner) to Quran (with tajweed). Furthermore, I delivered lessons weekly ranging in multiple subjects such as Hadeeth, Fiqh, Islamic knowledge, the seerah of the prophet, beneficial duas etc.

Fee details

    £15–30/hour (US$20.27–40.54/hour)

    The fee depends on the number of students, level and the travelling involved if teaching face to face.
