Academically, I did Master's in Economics and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics and Information Management.

I commenced my career in the field of market research and business analysis in 2004, serving various corporations for nearly a decade. During later phase of this period, I shifted my focus area in social research and analysis especially in the field of psephology.
From 2014 to 2017, I collaborated with several colleges affiliated with Calcutta University as a guest lecturer, teaching subjects such as Microeconomics, International Economics, Statistics, and Econometrics. During this period, I also conducted group-based private tuition.

Between 2017 and 2020, I worked as a hired researcher in the field of the contemporary art market outside of India.

Upon my return to India in 2021, I became associated with multiple Business Schools, where I teach subjects including Marketing Research, Statistics, and Econometrics. Additionally, I guide students in data analysis using software such as R, SPSS, and SAS as an lab instructor, while also running my own company operating in the social business sector.

I simplify complex concepts by incorporating real-life examples from our daily lives into my teaching. My classes are thoughtfully structured and centered around the needs of the students. I facilitate interactive sessions, concentrating on the clarification of fundamental concepts. Additionally, I provide comprehensive notes when necessary to enhance the learning experience. My classes are grounded in practical applications, encouraging students to engage with problem-oriented questions and develop approaches to address them as a regular part of the learning process.

    ₹350–450/hour (US$3.68–4.74/hour)
