I have been practicing the art of Kuchipudi dance since my childhood, starting from 1978. Under the guidance of Smt Kothapalli Padma, a disciple of Vempati Chinna Satyam Gaaru, I have honed my skills as a dancer. In 1992, I embarked on my teaching career as a Kuchipudi dance teacher. Additionally, I have obtained a Masters degree in Kuchipudi Dance from Potti Sri Ramulu Telugu University in Hyderabad. Throughout my journey, I have been honored with numerous awards, both nationally and internationally. Notably, I have received esteemed accolades such as the National Nrityamani Award in Cuttack Mahotsav, the Kala Ratna Award, and the Uttama Natyacharini Award. I have had the privilege of performing in various countries, showcasing my talent in leading roles across a range of ballets. Some notable performances include portraying Hiranyakaschipa in Bhaktha Prahalada, Rukmini in Sri Krishna Parijatham, the mother of Chandalika in the ballet of the same name, Valmiki in Valmiki ballet, and Shiva in the prestigious Nada Neerajanam ballet at TTDs Ramaparinayam.I am a qualified and experienced kuchipudi dance instructor who has been teaching online for the past five years.
