Farida OmerEnglish Language and Literature
No reviews yet
My idea of teaching English is not only based on improvement in grades, but to make my students well-equipped with the understanding of the skills required while structuring complex questions. The pupils, therefore, practice applying those concepts with guided instructions avoiding ambiguity. This further polishes their ability to think critically and structure their written tasks regarding descriptions, comparisons, responses, articles, letters and much more.
Like Math, I have a strong faith in teaching English language, by using thoughtfully devised formulas, that students can remember for life. These formulas prove to be extremely helpful in structuring students' writing according to the question asked.
Moreover, the Assessment skills we develop through regular practice of reading comprehension, dictation, extra vocabulary lists other than the book, further modifies students' grip in mastering and enhancing their written expression.
But it all comes through after a rigorous and regular practice of assignments provided as CW and HW. Hence, for a productive and progressive class, I plan accordingly with step-by-step instructional resources and consistent feedback, which learners have found helpful throughout their learning experience.
Furthermore, I also try to build a conducive learning environment in my class where pupils are well connected with their facilitator and hence develop a strong rapport for a continuous progress as long as we are together working as a team.
