I am available for students who need to know how to use Spreadsheets (Excel) in their reports / assignments. I am also available for those who want to improve their skills in Excel for advancement in their career. Or if you need help in specific functions using Excel, I can guide you in these areas.

I am also available to teach Excel from basic to advanced. Teaching can be one to one, or for small groups. Face to face is preferred for those living within my area, but Online is also possible.
Each student has to have his / her own laptop / computer and will be doing the lessons hands-on. There will be examples for practice so that the students will be able to apply the skills learnt for future projects in Excel.

The advanced class (VBA) may take a few lessons and will be more focused to specific needs.

Students can also request for coaching in specific topics. You are advised to start from the Basic, as I had students who still learnt a lot in their first class, even though they have been using Excel for some time.

    I have given private lessons on Excel. I developed my own curriculum from Basic Excel to Advanced (VBA).
    I am available for anyone who wants to learn or improve their Excel skills, either with a small class, or individually.

    I am a retired Civil Engineer and have used Excel (and previously Lotus 123) during my career and for my own personal use. I have used VBA extensively for my own projects and also for others.

    I am also doing freelance Excel for anyone who needs help with their Excel problems or needs to improve their Excel process with formulas, Pivot Tables and automate the processes with VBA (macro).

Fee details

    RM50–60/hour (US$12.59–15.11/hour)

    For special guidance to help in any Excel problems, the hourly rate applies.
    If you want the structured course for Excel, there are sections or modules, from Basic to Advanced. Students may stop at any level.
    Mode of teaching is physical (within my locality) or Online.
    Each module may take 2 or more lessons (2 hours for each lesson).
    Fees are charged based on the hourly rate.
    1) Moving around in Excel sheets and intro to formulas
    2) More complex formulas, tables
    3) Managing Database
    4) Pivot Tables, Advanced Filters, Charts
    5) Advanced programming (VBA)

    The modules structure may be changed to suit.
    The rate for the Advanced programming (VBA) is RM 60 per hour.
