My name is Vashnavi, and I am a trained Bharatanatyam dancer in kalakshestra style, having successfully completed my Visharad Purna. I have been learning Bharatanatyam for the past few years, a journey that has helped me build a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, expression (abhinaya), and discipline.
For me, Bharatanatyam is not just about movements or adavus, it is a powerful form of expression, storytelling, and inner growth. Through consistent practice and training, I have developed a deep respect for the tradition and grammar of the dance, while also learning how to present it in a way that feels engaging and meaningful. I now wish to pass on my knowledge to students and dance enthusiasts who want to learn Bharatanatyam in a supportive and comfortable environment. My teaching approach focuses on making the learning process fun, relatable, and easy to grasp, so that students build confidence, clarity, and a genuine love for the art form.
I believe that with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, every student can connect with Bharatanatyam and grow both as a dancer and as an individual.
