In my 16+ years of teaching Engineering Mathematics I have found the need to help students with the art of analysing mathematical problems. I follow the concept of inculcating the habit of practice + analysis in a student. My teaching will include solving question banks based on concepts and helping a student think out of the box. I hold lectures and also share additional video lectures that motivate students to want to learn more about a topic. I offer practice mock tests and construct question banks. For students learning the concepts of trigonometry, differentiation & integration, I construct a formulae sheet that will be provided to them online. I use online teaching tools like Geogebra that help students understand the nature of graphs & understand regions when dealing with problems on multiple integration. I encourage students (undergraduate)to review research papers in the area of Mathematics to understand its applications in the field that they obtain a degree in. Discussing the significance and applications of a Mathematical concept is also a key element in my teaching skill.
