Julia Carla Tabije is a passionate music educator and performer specializing in percussion instruments such as snare drum, drum set, keyboard mallets, etc. She began her teaching journey in high school, mentoring an elementary drum and lyre band.
Currently, Julia is an active member of the University of the Philippines ROTC Band, UP Symphonic Band, UP Percussion Ensemble, Philippine Youth Symphonic Band and Jazz Band, and the Percussive Arts Society Philippine Chapter. Her performance experience includes collaborations with some of the country’s most esteemed musical groups, such as the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, UP Symphony Orchestra, Metro Manila Concert Orchestra, Kuwerdas Filipinas Symphonic Rondalla, and various local marching bands.
Julia offers both online and home service music lessons, providing students with flexible options for learning percussion instruments in the comfort of their own space or through virtual platforms. She is committed to sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of musicians, whether through one-on-one lessons or group workshops.
