Saad InamTeaching Fellow, Fluid Dynamist
No reviews yet
Greetings everyone! I'm Dr Saad Inam, a Teaching Fellow at University of Hertfordshire and a Visiting Academic at the University of Southampton. I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, which make me naturally good in Mathematics, Calculus and Physics. During my enriching PhD journey, I had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant, improving my skills, and gaining invaluable teaching experience. My responsibilities ranged from supporting undergraduates in tutorial sessions for diverse modules like Engineering Statics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Dynamics, and Controls, to being a reliable hand in labs and assisting lecturers in marking exam papers and coursework. I also took on the crucial role of invigilating exams during examination periods. With a specialization in Fluid Mechanics from my doctoral studies, I've become expert at utilising CFD software such as Ansys (Fluent), OpenFOAM, and PALM. However, my knowledge extends beyond fluids; I am well-versed in various engineering modules, including Thermodynamics, Engineering Statics, Engineering Dynamics, Controls and Vibrations, Computer Aided Design (CAD), and Calculus. Proficient in MATLAB, I leverage it for data analysis, producing plots, and creating figures. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), underscoring my commitment to excellence in higher education practices. I have helped a lot of students in the past from various educational backgrounds such as GCSE, A-Levels and University. This include providing one to one tailored sessions and extra support to improve their grades for subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Furthermore, I know some dedicated colleagues who can provide support in various other subjects as well such as Chemistry, Biology, BTEC and Engineering to name a few. If you are looking for support then you are at the right place. Let's embark on a journey of knowledge and innovation together!
