Hi! I am an engineer turned historian with experience working in corporate and academia. I am deeply passionate about education and enjoy teaching. I have had one year of formal teaching experience with middle school students and an informal experience of teaching my peers and friends through study groups in college.
I enjoy breaking down complex ideas to make them simpler and communicating them effectively to people. Teaching, for me, is the best way to strengthen my fundamentals and understanding of a subject, so I always look at a teacher-student relationship as a mutual process of educating one another. I believe in learning through experience, so I always ground all my teachings in real-life applications and cater to my student's needs. I also believe in engaging and non-conventional assignments, so I try to make exciting problem sets and question banks to share with the students. I am also open to constructive feedback and take my students's input on improving my teaching methodology seriously. I want to make the process of education fun and exciting for my students.
