I am Trisha Banlasan, a self-taught and versatile visual artist from the Philippines. I have been nurturing my artistic skills since childhood and continue to explore various mediums including graphite, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, and digital tools. I actively manage an art page on multiple social media platforms, where I share my work with a global audience. In addition to personal projects, I offer freelance services such as painting, sketching, mural art, and graphic design. I also run a small creative business specializing in keychain lettering, painting, and glass art, which I regularly showcase at school and community events in Cebu City.

I have participated in numerous art competitions both locally and internationally, consistently challenging myself to grow in both technique and expression. As an artist, I believe in versatility and lifelong learning—embracing every opportunity to evolve creatively and inspire others through my work.

Beyond the arts, I am also passionate about education. I am a graduate of Cebu Normal University with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, and I am currently working as an online ESL teacher. My experience in teaching both young and adult learners has deepened my understanding of differentiated instruction, classroom management, and creating positive, student-centered learning environments. I strongly believe in the power of repetition and clarity to enhance understanding and retention, and I strive to make learning both effective and engaging.

Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated excellence and consistency. From elementary through senior high school, I maintained top honors, graduating with a 96 average. At the university level, I was recognized as a Dean’s Lister. These achievements reflect my dedication, growth mindset, and commitment to lifelong learning—qualities I bring to every classroom and creative project.

I aim to continue using both my artistic and teaching skills to make a meaningful impact in any environment I’m part of, always driven by passion, purpose, and the pursuit of continuous improvement.
