Hi! I’m Teacher Arianne, a passionate educator and fresh graduate with a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Biology from the University of the Philippines - Diliman. During my practicum at the University of the Philippines - Integrated School (UPIS), I gained invaluable insights and experiences that shaped me into not just a better teacher, but also a better person.
In addition to my formal training, I have been tutoring an IB high school student from an international school, guiding her through assignments, assisting with papers while ensuring she develops her own understanding, and preparing her for exams through reviews and practice tests.
My teaching journey, however, started long before my formal training. Since high school, I have been helping my aunts, cousins, and family friends' children with their school assignments, projects, and even Quiz Bee preparations. This hands-on experience with elementary students allowed me to develop patience, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of how young minds learn. I loved every second of it—watching them grow, improve, and gain confidence in their abilities. While I do feel a little sad that they are now teenagers who no longer need my help, I am even prouder that they have become independent learners, ready to take on challenges on their own.
With my experience working with both elementary and high school students, I am confident in my ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide the support that students need to thrive. I believe that a strong foundation in learning is essential for future success, and I am excited to continue guiding young minds in their educational journey.
I firmly believe in the words of Rita Pierson: "Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be."
This mantra guides my teaching philosophy. I see my students as future leaders, healers, and advocates—individuals who will shape the world in their own unique ways. My goal is to nurture their potential, celebrate their intelligence in all its forms, and support them in discovering their own paths in life.
