As a part of microbiology research group, my primary objectives revolve around contributing to the dynamic research endeavors within the realms of vaccine development, antimicrobial resistance, virology, and phage therapeutics. I aim to apply and refine various advanced molecular and microbiological techniques that are well established in this lab. By actively participating in projects related to both pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacteria, as well as viruses, I aspire to gain comprehensive insights into their behavior and interactions. Additionally, I am keen on absorbing knowledge at all levels, from basic to advanced, as imparted by the group's training program, enabling me to conduct a wide spectrum of microbiological research effectively. My ultimate goal is to leverage these experiences to contribute meaningfully to the lab's overarching mission of advancing knowledge in these critical areas of microbiology. My main objectives are to support students in their learning journey. I will facilitate understanding through lectures and activities, providing extra help when needed. I will ensure proper procedures are followed and help students grasp the significance of experiments. I can also provide an opportunity to gain experience in relevant lab. Grading assignments and giving constructive feedback will guide their progress. Encourage critical thinking and active participation in discussions. Stay updated with current research to offer the latest knowledge. Prioritize safety and communicate clearly with students. Seek opportunities for my own professional growth to enhance my teaching skills and knowledge in microbiology. My aim is to create a positive and enriching learning environment

Experience
Microbiologist (Oct, 2023–Present) at Islamabad Diagnostic Center Islamabad
Performing tests in a lab setting to identify microbes in samples provided. Culture Inoculation on different media & Streaking Techniques. Bacterial identification through manual bio-chemicals tests as well as through API / Vitek-2 / Vitek-MS. Plate reading and Drug Susceptibility Testing. Media Preparation, Autoclaving, and Millipore water culture technique. Water chemical analysis using photometer and multi-meter Staining techniques including ZN/AFB stain and Gram stain Working on BACT/ALERT virtuo (Automated Blood Culture System) Working on Vitek-2 Compact (Id and Susceptibility Automation) Working on Vitek-MS (MALDI-TOFF) Working on Automated Media Pourer Machine Direct detection of pathogenic organisms by Microscopy (this might involve using staining techniques tailored for suspected pathogenic organisms). Direct detection of specific products of infecting organisms using chemical, immunologic, or molecular techniques. Detection of antibodies the patient produces in response to an infecting organism (Serodiagnosis). Managing and overseeing laboratory work. Worked as a key figure in the control of hospital infection and the antimicrobial policy. Microscopy PCR
