As a lecturer in Environmental Studies at Kidderpore College since 2020, I've taught students through experiential and field-based methods, connecting theoretical concepts to real-world applications. Additionally, I have experience in private tutoring for graduate and master's level students in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, and Botany, catering to various West Bengal universities, including the University of Calcutta, the University of Burdwan, West Bengal State University, and Rabindra Bharati University, with study materials in both Bengali and English.

Experience

  • Lecturer (Feb, 2020–Present) at Kidderpore College, Kolkata
    I teach students as Guest Faculty in Environmental Studies at Kidderpore College from 2020 through empirical and field-based methodology, bridging the world of theoretical learning to hands-on understanding. During these six years of significant exposure in the urban, semi-urban, and rural fields of West Bengal, I help students analyse and directly interpret environmental issues themselves. Thus, I emphasize sustainable management so as to have hands-on exercises and case studies to initiate the critical thinking about ecologically sound behaviour, social dynamics, and conservation policy. It is necessary for having a positive rapport of appreciation of biodiversity and handling environmental issues with tools needed to lead a sustainable way of life.
