Dear Parents and students,
I can teach carnatic music with a strong foundation in traditional techniques and a deep passion for the art form. Having learned and practiced carnatic music for several years, I am confident in guiding students through the basics, gradually buidling up to varnams and krithis.. I focus on clear pronunciation, proper thala adherence and the correct rendition of ragas, helping students understand both the technical and emotional aspects of music. Whether the learner is a complete beginner or someone who wants to strengthen their basics, I can offer patient, structured and joyful teaching, making the learning journey enriching and enjoyable.
I will be sending out recordings after the class and students have to definitely share their practice recordings before the next session. If you are dedicated to learn, I will be more than happy to teach :)
For intermediate level students, after 1 year of learning, you will be able to sing swaras of different ragas (a minimum of 5) and you will be able to enjoy the essence and bhava of each raga. Reach out to me if you want to have a one to one session or a group of only 3. I do not exceed this number.
