Hello this is Preksha, i am from karnataka, and I have
been learning indian classical music - Hindustani music from a very young age from various experienced gurus .. I can teach in English, Hindi, kannada and marathi languages .... I am well trained to be able to teach indian classical, semi classical, light music and movie songs ( including south indian )
I have been teaching adults as well as kids...
I am very patient with kids, as I already have been teaching to kids below 8 years also, I have seen that they have showed a lot of improvement and even more interest in learning after the classes .. I can teach right from the kids of age 5 to 15, and adults even above 60 years ...
I started learning my basics from my guru in Karnataka, who holds the prestigious Karnataka state award ( Rajyotsava prashasthi) I feel blessed that I have started so young and hence, with the experience of so many years, i believe that the basics are very important for anyone to be able to learn any form of art .. through my personal experience, i have learnt that until the base of your art form is not strong, you do not tend to grasp the things very soon.....
Hence, i assure that the basics are going to be given extremely importance and each step, will be taken care of, so that even if a person who has not learnt anything before will be able to connect easily and get trained in a proper way...
Along with the practical classes, I also give theoretical knowledge wherever it is necessary, which is extremely important ... I also provide with the notes, which are personalised based on the level and understanding of each student, which is observed to enhance the performance of the students..
Hence the advantages and opportunities of learning with me would have the utmost attention, along with the varied experiences that I have from the various gurus....

She has good knowledge on music therapy also which would definitely help in today's hectic lifestyle. Would highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a good carnatic music and hindustani classical music tutor and a music therapist.

Outstanding teacher

Preksha ma’am is extremely experienced and soft spoken, but she will make sure all her students learn well. She makes sure we practice what we learned in previous class and considers our requests if we wish to learn a particular song. I had a good experience learning under preksha ma’am and recommend her for anyone who wishes to learn music.
