My name is Thelma Amarachukwu Onuekwe,I have taught for more than 9 years. I graduated from Bingham University keffi, Nasarawa State where I studied Microbiology. I have acquired several skills through trainings which have helped me for years in my teaching.

I specialize in teaching wide range of subjects. For early years, I teach science Numeracy, Literacy and Igbo Language. For KS1, I teach Science, Literacy, Numeracy, spelling and Igbo Language. For KS2, I teach Numeracy, Literacy, Science, spellings and Igbo Language I am not limited to nursery and primary pupils, I also teach secondary students. For JSS1-3, I teach Basic Science, Agriculture, Computer, Social Studies and Igbo Language and I teach Biology and Agriculture and prepare students for WAEC, NECO and GCE for senior Secondary School.

I make my classes and my subjects' fun and engaging for learners through play way method, using videos, chats, pictures, games, songs, play roles, Montessori items. I also engage them in classroom discussions when questions are being raised which aids in their critical thinking and problem -solving. We also embark on excursion when the need arises, past questions are also used in my teachings and presentations by students and pupils.

For years, I have taught several pupils and students that have so many challenges in their academics and at the end it was a success. I look forward to supporting your child's learning journey

  • Online (Feb, 2020–Present) at Igbo Language, Biology and Science online tutor
    As an Igbo language tutor, I introduce my pupils and students to the Igbo alphabets, pronunciation, and grammar. I teach vocabulary, sentence structure and verb conjugation. I teach my learners how to write and speak very well. I unfold the Igbo culture to my learners, thereby making them familiar with the ceremonies, festivals and society value tied to Igbo language.
  • Science teacher (Sep, 2018–Mar, 2021) at Fitt Global School Ajah, Lagos State
    I designed curriculum aligned lessons that meet diverse learning needs. I planned an experiment and practical activities to reinforce theoretical knowledge. I developed different assessment for the learners to evaluate their understanding. I organize an excursion for the students which aided in their learning.
  • Biology and Science teacher (Sep, 2017–Aug, 2018) at Orient Special College Ogbunike,Anambra State.
    I taught Biology and science which I prepared an engaging and interactive lessons for biology topics and science. In each of these classes, I use teaching aids such as models, lab equipment to enhance learning and I guide students in conducting laboratory experiments. I develop a lesson plan that align with curriculum standards.

    I taught Biology and science which I prepared an engaging and interactive lessons in topics in biology and science.
