I am a graduate Alimah who has studied Arabic language, theology, and mythology in depth, achieving an outstanding 94% in my final year. My passion lies in sharing this sacred knowledge with others, teaching Fiqh, Hadith, stories of the Prophets, Quran, and Tajweed. With years of experience teaching children aged 5-15, I have developed a patient and nurturing approach to learning, creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow in their understanding of the deen. I believe in building a mentor-like relationship with my students, guiding them with care and dedication to achieve their best. Whether you are just beginning or looking to deepen your knowledge, I am eager to help you succeed.

Experience

  • Godstone Nursery and Primary School (Sep, 2024Nov, 2024) at Empower Learning Ltd
I took the initiative to become a teaching assistant which required me to actively support children with special educational needs such as dyslexia, autism and ADHD. This experience enabled me to develop core communication skills as I was able to tailor my approach and my support strategies to fulfil the needs of each child. An example that reflects my dedication, is when i was able to build rapport with a non-verbal three year old child who had the mental ability of an eight month old to the extent, I was able to encourage the child to feel confident and safe with sensory equipment. As a result, the child was able to verbally communicate to me by saying the word 'sand' which was a skill I helped him develop. This was a milestone for both myself and the student as I played a fundamental role in achieving such success.

As an office junior, l gained valuable insights into the corporate field which involved practical experience with managing administrative tasks such as handling log books and enrolment forms. This enhanced my organisational skills as I learnt how to input data onto Excel spreadsheets with accuracy and attention to detail. This is essential when managing client information. Moreover, I developed a professional understanding about confidentiality and accountability with documentation which is important to uphold within the accounting standards.
  • Croydon (Sep, 2017Present) at Croydon Mosque & Islamic Centre
I committed to an intensive seven-year Alimah course. This is a programme designed to study Classical Arabic theology and jurisprudence of the Sharia law. This has allowed me to develop core time management skills as I have been consistently attending these classes alongside Secondary School and Sixth Form. This shows my dedication to acquire a wealth of knowledge across a broad range of subjects such as the laws on inheritance and business transactions.
