I love mathematics and in school, it used to be my favourite and sometimes my best subject. I am passionate about teaching, being a diligent and self motivated person. I am flexible person, this enabling me to deal with people of different ages. I also have skills in modern technology. It thrills me to see someone's face glow because he/she has understood what I have explained while teaching. While I have not taught math formerly, I have coached some friends and children of friends who appreciate my methods of teaching. While math is considered a difficult subject, I use simple methods and illustrations(from day to day life)to explain seemingly difficult concepts, making it easier for the student to grasp them. I also use daily application of the subject material showing where the concept can be applied, making it easier for students to see the day to day application of what they learn. I believe this makes me an excellent mathematics teacher.
