My name is Damaris Oyingo, and I am a passionate, committed, and student-centered educator majoring in Physics and Mathematics, with a minor in English Literature. I believe that education is not just about passing exams—it's about transforming lives, nurturing minds, and empowering students to discover their potential.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in making complex concepts understandable, engaging, and relevant to students’ daily lives. I strive to create a classroom environment where learners feel confident exploring new ideas, asking questions, and developing a deep love for learning. Whether it's solving physics problems, understanding mathematical patterns, or analyzing literature, I guide my students with patience, creativity, and structure.

As someone who also offers counselling, I recognize that students need more than academic support to thrive. They need someone who listens, understands, and walks with them through the ups and downs of school life and personal challenges. I take pride in being approachable, empathetic, and supportive—qualities that allow me to build strong, trusting relationships with my learners. Through counselling, I help students strengthen their emotional resilience, improve their focus, and build confidence in themselves.

I am deeply committed to holistic education—teaching the mind while also caring for the heart. I actively encourage critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and self-discipline in all my learners. As I continue to grow as a teacher and counsellor, I remain passionate about making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of the students I serve.
