I am a British-qualified secondary maths teacher with experience teaching students aged 11 to 18. With eight years of private tutoring experience across multiple curriculums, I have developed a deep understanding of different learning styles and how to tailor my approach to meet individual student needs.

My teaching style is centred on student engagement—I strive to make mathematics accessible and interesting for all learners. I adapt my methods to ensure each student remains actively involved, using real-life applications, interactive discussions, and problem-solving techniques to build confidence and curiosity in the subject.

To maximise learning outcomes, I implement a variety of assessment for learning strategies. I frequently use mini whiteboards, cold-calling, and diagnostic questioning to encourage participation, provide immediate feedback, and help students take ownership of their learning. These strategies have been proven to enhance motivation and ultimately improve overall attainment in mathematics.

Whether students need support with exam preparation, concept reinforcement, or advanced problem-solving, I am dedicated to helping them achieve their full potential.
