hi, i have been teaching students at home for past 4 years . i have myself cleared 2 stages of upsc exam, i teach from basics,strictly no cramming at all. encourage students to ask doubts even the same doubt can be asked 1oo times. i am very patient and calm with students and i have seen improvement in their learning as well as marks in the 1st month itself. i am very empathetic to children and i try to identify every child's weakness and strength and act according to it. i teach every child individually like my own child and not in groups. i also use many tools like diagrams, models, maps, daily life objects to make more clear to the child . i never discourage any child . i limit homework also to the point so that child gets time to play as these days children tend to become more passive . i take the help of visuals to explain the child only when it becomes necessary but that also i know the limit. give it a try . you will never regret.
