  • Geographic Information Scientist (Mar, 2024–Jan, 2025) at Nigerian Geological Survey Agency, Abuja
    ● Tutored 10 undergraduate interns on the application of GIS technology to solve environmental issues.
    ● Collected and maintained a comprehensive database of GIS layers and data, ensuring accuracy and relevance of geospatial information.
    ● Conducted geotechnical analysis on some areas of Abia state to determine the areas highly prone to gully erosion and the impact on building construction using GIS.
    ● Produced a flood risk assessment map of Lagos state, Nigeria to determine the areas highly prone to flooding using ArcGIS, which aids to inform policies and practices to mitigate flood hazards and water Pollution by the government and urban planners (SDG 6).
    ● Developed an ArcGIS workflow, to assess geological deformation in Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun state using Landsat images (Google Earth images, Landsat imagery, and SRTM Hill-shading imagery) and overlapping them with the topographic and geologic maps, providing insights into the area’s geologic structures.
