Welcome! I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with extensive experience in Geography and environmental sciences. As an O Level Subject Coordinator for Geography at a Cambridge curriculum school for two years, I have honed my skills in curriculum development and student engagement, creating a dynamic learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.

Currently, I also serve as a faculty member at a prominent forestry research institute, where I teach Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing to undergraduate students. My teaching style emphasizes practical applications and real-world problem-solving, helping students connect theory with practice in meaningful ways.

In addition, I lead a specialized course on "Forest/Range Assessment and Monitoring," where I guide students through advanced techniques for evaluating forest health and managing ecosystems sustainably. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive impact in their fields.

I believe that every student has unique potential, and I strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere. If you’re looking to deepen your understanding of Geography or explore the exciting realm of GIS and forestry, I’m here to support your journey. Let’s work together to achieve your academic goals!

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing technologies. Students will learn how GIS integrates hardware, software, and data to capture, store, analyze, and visualize geographic information. The course explores basic principles of spatial data management, map projections, coordinate systems, and spatial analysis.
In the Remote Sensing component, students will discover how satellite and aerial imagery is acquired, processed, and interpreted to study Earth's surface features. The course covers electromagnetic radiation principles, various sensor types, image interpretation techniques, and the integration of remote sensing data with GIS for environmental monitoring, urban planning, natural resource management, and disaster assessment.
Through hands-on exercises and practical applications, students will develop essential skills in industry-standard GIS software and learn to process satellite imagery. By the end of the course, students will understand how these powerful technologies work together to solve real-world spatial problems and support decision-making across various fields, including environmental science, urban planning, agriculture, and natural resource management.
